Jeremy Self joined Cedarwood Financial Partners as a founding partner after serving his clients at Edward Jones for three years. Prior to that he started and led an area church for eleven years, where he regularly facilitated financial classes for church members, helping people learn how to budget, eliminate debt, and invest.
Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership from Dallas Seminary, both of which prepared him to care for people and their future.
Jeremy seeks to make a difference in serving the Lake Travis community by volunteering at his church, Rotary Club, Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce, and the local school district.
When he’s not serving his clients or his community, he can be found in a boat on Lake Travis or at Rosemary Beach with his wife, Ashley, and their five children.
Jeremy’s philosophy is to help his clients replace their financial fears with confidence and peace of mind, guiding them with their agreed-upon strategy.

Maddie summarizes her role as a Client Service Specialist with one word: Serving. Whether it be serving clients or serving our financial planners, she enjoys finding the best way to deliver the support and make their lives easier.
She loves getting to know clients on a personal level, learning all about their family life, hobbies, favorite sports teams, what motivates them, pet peeves, etc. She finds it creates a stronger relationship and over time clients begin to feel more like friends and family instead of an account number.
In her free time, Maddie likes to travel. With a goal to travel all over the world, she is on her way. Her next dream destination on the list is Spain!
If she’s out of groceries and wants to grab a quick bite to eat, her go to local restaurant is a toss up between Cyclone Anaya’s and Fajita Jacks.
Maddie is a native Texan, born in Houston, however she was raised in Arizona. She couldn’t stay away from Texas and moved back after graduating college in 2020 to be close to her family. She can always be found outside playing sports, working out, or eating some delicious food. Maddie is the proud aunt to four sweet girls and a nephew on the way!
