The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is...

If you’re making everyone happy, you’re doing something wrong. Which just means that no matter how hard you try, you can never please everyone.

What is your favorite vacation you have ever been on?

All my vacations are my favorite. Anytime I’m able to get away and disconnect a little from my day-to-day routine and recharge is my favorite. Whether it be in the mountains snowboarding, on a beach reading a book, or with 25 high schoolers in NYC.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I wanted to be a teacher. Now I help lead high school girls in our church which feels like teaching, but a lot more fun!

Amber describes her role as CSS as the liaison between clients and planners. Primarily she oversee account management ensuring all administrative aspects of the financial plan are up to date and helping clients feel like part of the family.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling with her daughter, and serving with the high school youth at her church, Vista Community Church. Amber has a daughter, Makenzie & they have 2 dogs, Ozzie and Eris, as well as a cat named Cleo.
